Faculty Exhibition: Lisa Mackie, “Here Then and Now”

We invite you all to professor Lisa Mackie’s new show Here Then and Now at June Kelly Gallery, 166 Mercer St. in SoHo. The show will be up from Sept 6th – Oct 9th, with an opening reception on Thurs, September 6th, 6-8pm. Lisa Mackie is a New York artist, a master printer with a long and distinguished career. Besides her success as an individual artist, she has also collaborated with many, many others in order to more fully realize their own print-based works. Internship Opportunity: Morgan Library and Museum

The Morgan Library and Museum is accepting applications for the 2018-2019 Rudin Internship, School Program Assistant. This internship opportunity for a full-time, active CUNY undergraduate student.

Rudin Internship: School Program Assistant

The Education Department is seeking a School Program Assistant to help implement the Morgan’s school, teacher, and family programs. The candidate must be a full-time undergraduate student at a CUNY school. He or she must demonstrate a keen interest in the field of museum education and in the visual arts, a rigorous attention to detail, and solid writing and communication skills. The intern will assist in the daily implementation of school and after-school programs, set-up and clean-up of classes, maintain school and family program supplies, assist in preparing teachers’ confirmation packets, submit event forms, and assist in the production of school and family pamphlets and flyers. Physical condition should allow lifting, bending, reaching top shelves, and pushing carts. Proficiency in Microsoft Office required. The School Program Assistant reports to the Education Associate and the Assistant Manager of School Programs with overall supervision by the Manager of Education Programs. Due to the high volume of applicants, we are able to contact only active CUNY undergraduate students whose skills and background best fit our needs.

Compensation: $15.00 / hour

Hours: 10–15 per week

Days: 2–3 days per week (schedule negotiable)
