Dr. Wendy Gers has delivered over 60 public lectures in 26 countries, taught internationally, and was Academic Director of the post-graduate research laboratory, La Céramique Comme Experience (CCE) at ENSA Limoges (2015-2018).
Gers is the recipient of a PhD from the University of Sunderland; MA in History of Art (cum laude); Advanced University Diploma in Information Studies and BA from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.
She is a member of the NCECA Green Task Force, the Board of Directors of The Studio Potter (USA), and a Council Member of the International Academy of Ceramics.

Student Gallery Exhibition: Queens College Ceramics Club, “Wood|Salt|Fire”

Queens College Ceramics Club invites you to view the new exhibition in the Klapper Student Gallery: Wood|Salt|Fire, featuring noborigama wood-fired works created at the Peters Valley School of Craft! Works will be on display in the gallery February 18th-25th, with a closing reception and pottery sale on Tuesday, February 25th 6-9pm.

QC Ceramics Club Spring Sale

QC Ceramics Club will be hosting their annual spring sale this week! Stop by Klapper Circle on Wednesday, May 1st and Thursday, May 2nd, 10am – 5pm to buy some student-made wares. (Rain location will be held in the Dining Hall)
